The centrepiece of our event was the fantastic hog roast! The pig was cooked to perfection, with a crispy crackling and tender, juicy meat. Really impressed with everything! The selection of food was great and it all tasted spot on. Nobody had a bad word to say about any of it. Sometimes when your trying to feed a large party the first plate is never as good as the last but it was 100% all the way through. The guys were really friendly aswell which was nice.

The BBQ we had was so tasty! Everything was really high quality and there was so much food for everyone that people were going back for multiple servings! Just want to say how amazing everything was and the food was outstanding! You catered for 45 guests absolutely everybody loved the food, everything was freshly made and the flavours were perfect. Everything was set up before guests arrived and cleared away quickly afterwards which was a lovely surprise not to be let with loads of rubbish!  We was so very pleased with everything would highly recommend five out of five stars from me and the wife.

Thanks for doing such an amazing job at weekend! You were the perfect choice for our American themed birthday party and the southern slow menu couldn’t have been any better! The mac & cheese was a personal favourite and bbq ribs were so tender and juicy! Crackling, Crackling, Crackling!! That’s all i can say haha! Oh my goodness it was delicious, so much so that i just sat snacking on it all evening! Please thank the guys for how fantastic the service was and we really enjoyed how friendly and chatty they were during the eveing. It definitely put everybody in a lovely mood! Again you should sell that crackling as bagged snack as id 100% be your biggest consumer! I even converted my sister with it who doesn’t normally enjoy it like the rest of us do 🙂

They turned up on time, had an easy setup and were flexible with our serve time. We didn’t know how best to work out numbers of guests as we had kids, vegans etc but the amount of food you served was perfect and we even had leftovers!

Recently used The Spitting Pig for a 40^th birthday party. We went with the Southern Slow Menu which was great! I had a few questions about the day and also some dietary requirements. They made sure they were able to cater for these requirements. Everyone said on how nice the food was.

I cannot thank the staff at Spitting Pig for providing the fantastic Alfresco menu for our wedding last Friday. The antipasti boards were incredible, hog roast was delicious (especially the crackling) and most importantly the staff was extremely friendly. Icing on the cake for the perfect day!

The dinner was great, all our guests really enjoyed everything. So much so that would it be cheeky if I asked what your Mac and cheese recipe is because it was so delicious?!

Our wedding on Saturday was absolutely amazing, the service and food provided by yourselves was phenomenal!! Your catering staff and chef were absolutely first class, nothing was any bother,, they couldn’t have been any nicer, friendlier or efficient. Everyone is still talking about how much they enjoyed the food, how tasty it was, how it was presented and the friendliness and efficiency the lovely lads and lasses serving it all up. My maid of honour (my wee dog) really appreciated her big portion of meat too and cleared her plate.

Hi there, I couldn’t have asked for anything more!!!! The food was amazing and everyone commented on how tasty it was. Not only that, the amount was fabulous. The left overs fed my family (6 adults and 3 children) the next day and my husband and I finished it off for dinner last night.

What an absolute triumph! We hired Spitting Pig Lanarkshire for our wedding party yesterday and they were amazing throughout. We were due to get married in May 2020 but unfortunately due to the Coronavirus pandemic we had to postpone until October 2020. Spitting Pig Lanarkshire were so understanding and flexible and moved our date without issue. Unfortunately my wife then got track & traced a week before our 2nd wedding date so we had to postpone again and again Spitting Pig Lanarkshire kindly changed the date for the week later.

Spitting Pig Lanarkshire took care of a large group for our conference. Over 150 people, and everyone was thrilled! Our post surveys had more compliments the anything else! Outstanding! I use them for everything when I need food for an event!

The team truly made our reception fabulous! All I heard from our guests was how wonderful the food was and how they’ve never been to a wedding with better food. They are true masters of what they do! All of our food was fresh and delicious and our day was special because of this company! They worked well with me planning our menus and I appreciate all the effort they put in to make our special day a success!

I used the Spitting Pig Lanarkshire for my 60th birthday celebrations. My original plans had to be changed at the last minute because of the coronavirus restrictions. I was delighted that the company were able to step in at such short notice and provide a fabulous service in the back garden.

The food was delicious with sticky ribs and pulled pork being the biggest pleaser for all guests.

Although restricted in numbers everyone had a great time and commented on how friendly and attentive the guys were.
