Hog Roast Langholm catered an informal event yesterday, where we were asked for main courses to suit both carnivores and vegetarians, and to also provide a gluten-free meaty option. Our customer decided on pigs in buns and veggie wraps, with the former being floury rolls and wraps filled with hot meat, crackling, apple sauce and stuffing, and the latter wraps full of grilled halloumi, mushrooms, tomatoes, peppers, courgette and red onion, and served with a Tzatziki dip, and we surprised our customer by letting them know we could easily make the pigs in buns suitable for the gluten-free guests, simply by taking along gluten-free rolls.
After cooking up a feast over several hours, everyone dug in and enjoyed our tasty treats, regardless of dietary needs, and everything was stripped totally clean.
