All guests (including vegan and gluten free) delighted by your catering at our 90 person wedding. As well as delicious food, the team was lovely and set up without any fuss, and even came round to tidy guests’ plates afterwards (which we weren’t expecting). Brilliant service, very reasonable price for all we received (including leftovers!).

Jon and his team were excellent, all of our guest commented on how nice the food was and it was all done it professional and speedy manner! I would definitley recommend Spitting pig for anyone hosting and event. Superb!

Thank you for providing your hog roast for our corporate family day event. The Spitting Pig team were fantastic, they arrived at the expected time to set up, they were ready to serve at the start of the party, everyone commented how good the pulled pork sandwiches & wraps were, the grilled halloumi vegetarian option also went down a treat. Jon & Luke did a sterling job, were very friendly and cleared away at the end, leaving us left over pulled pork for our team to enjoy in sandwiches today, which has gone down an extra treat for a Monday! We will definitely be in touch and use the Spitting Pig again! Thanks

The team hosted a fabulous hog roast for us at our wedding! Their communication was great before and in the lead up, the food was TOP DRAW and we are happily living off the left overs for the next few days. It was good value and would happily use them again for another event 🙂

From initial inquiry, to discussing menu options with the admin team, through to our catering manager Jon introducing himself then the party itself. It has been an absolute delight to work with Spitting Pig Yorkshire. Their efficient responses to queries and questions was excellent. Some of my requests meant adapting menu options to best support the theme of my 50th birthday party, this was all accommodated fully with great suggestions made that really helped decision making. The efficiency of the on site team on the day of the event was like a well oiled machine. Set up ahead of the party was swift and the team were helpful and courteous when dealing with questions. Clear up after the event too, was all dealt with by the team. Jon, our catering manager was a really warm and friendly guy, and it was a pleasure to have him and his amazing food as the centre to the event. Every single guest was totally blown away by the food and it was the biggest talking point for the rest of the evening of the party and afterwards. Please be assured… if you are contemplating appointing Spitting Pig Yorkshire as the caterer for your event you will not be disappointed! From the delicious slow roast pig to beautiful salads and sides. Absolute perfection! All served on lovely eco friendly wooden plates and cutlery, this really elevates the visual presentation too!. Oh… they don’t exclude any Vegetarian or Vegan guests amongst your party either. 15% of my guests were vegetarian or vegan and they all said how amazing the food was. To all the team at SPY… I can not thank you enough for the amazing, warm and friendly service and the outstanding food you all provided it literally was the best part of the party! If I ever have a similar event you’ll be my first point of call!

The communication was really good, nothing was to much trouble even when I changed my mind. The staff were so friendly on the day, they went above and beyond to help me out. Highly recommend this company

Absolutely amazing company and highly recommended. Catered our wedding on Saturday 14th August 2021. Food was fantastic, all our guests were raving about the food and how good it was. The catering staff went above and beyond, nothing was too much hassle and they were very friendly and efficient.

Booked this at very short notice and we were delighted with every aspect of their service. From discussing menu options right through to the friendly attentive service we received it was great. Guests were delighted with the food which was the most important thing.

We had staff Christmas lunch which consisted of the most succulent Hog Roast with all the trimmings. Not only was the food amazing, the staff were very happy, chatty and tentative. Definitely recommend.

We had the absolutely delicious Hog Roast for our wedding party. The meat was juicy and tender and the stuffing to die for. All served in a very tasty bun by the two lovely guys who were so friendly and helpful and clearly loved what they were doing.

Best hog roast ever! John and his team arrived, and with so little fuss set up and served their fantastic hog roast and veggie/ vegan options. There was masses of food enough for greedy seconds for those that wanted and still leftovers! Highly recommend these guys 😊

Thank you so much to the Spitting Pig Team who helped make our recent garden party was a great success. The 3 staff members arrived in plenty of time to set up and were very thorough in deciding the best place to erect their station. They were very professional and courteous to all the guests throughout the evening and were very good at ensuring that the queue for the food did not become too long. They gave the impression that they would have stayed as long as the guests were eating and so no one felt rushed which was lovely.
The hogroast was fantastic – very tasty and everyone was very impressed with it. The accompanying dishes were also excellent and the desserts were delicious.
We had chosen the bamboo plates and cutlery which were ideal for a garden party. They looked good and also were sturdy.
After all the guests had eaten the staff cleared up quickly and thoroughly. In fact apart from the excess pork which they wrapped up and left in the kitchen no one would have known they had been there. They left the area they had been working in immaculate.
I would definitely recommend Spitting Pig to others and would have no hesitation to book your company again should we have a similar function.

Everyone loved it…the Mac n cheese seems to have been a hit and we didn’t get to taste it as there was so much choice. The meat was delicious and all the accompaniments were so tasty.

The admin of the contract from start to finish was first class.
The quiet unobtrusive, professional, and friendly approach of John and his team on the day was certainly noticed and commented on by many of our guests – nothing was too much trouble for them – well done!!!
The food itself was also excellent and attracted many favourable comments – the canapes coming in for special praise.
Once again thanks for your contribution to making our celebration so memorable, based on our experience, we would happily recommend The Spitting Pig to others. In fact so many of our guests asked about the catering, that we gave the contact details in our email of thanks to them all, so hopefully there might be some more business coming your way as a result.
