Some weddings are elegant and traditional, some are relaxed and rustic — and some, like Jamie & Fiona’s, are pure fun from start to finish! After tying the knot earlier in the week in the romantic setting of Gretna Green, they decided to keep the celebrations going with a post-wedding costume party for 100 friends and family.
The party was held at home, with the catering set up in the garage — yes, it was a tight squeeze, but we managed to fit everything in and keep the food flowing! There’s something wonderfully personal about a celebration like this; the slightly unconventional setting only added to the charm.
By 5pm, the irresistible aroma of our slow-roasted hog began drifting outside, drawing in guests dressed as everything from superheroes to historical figures.
