Ian and his fiancé got engaged at the beginning of January and hired Hog Roast Dunkeld to cater for their engagement party. The party was hosted at their home in the North West, which had plenty of space in an open plan living room to allow the guests to mingle, chat, and eat. For the catering, Hog Roast Dunkeld was hired to serve a classic hog roast, with an additional course of canapes as the guests arrive. This menu would be ideal for setting an elegant tone for the evening and would prepare the guests for an enjoyable evening.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Dunkeld team arrived at the home with plenty of time to prepare for the 6:00pm arrival of the guests. We began by serving a selection of delicious canapes, including an Indian selection, mini pizzas, and duck breast. The canapes were served by our experienced waiting staff circling the room and allowing everyone to enjoy what we had to offer. Following this, it was time to serve the main meal. We prepared slices of slow-roasted pork in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. These dishes were served with homemade chips and a selection of salad dishes to create a varied and delicious evening meal. As well as the menu, Hog Roast Dunkeld also provided a drinks service where the guests toasted to the happy couple.
