Hog Roast Strathaven were delighted to join new customers Kevin and Amada for their special day as they pulled out all the stops and threw Hog Roast Strathaven a lavish wedding dining task to play around with. Much like their jet-setting adventurous lives Kevin and Amada wanted a more “out-there” (as they described it) dining experience for their special day, so of course they came to the right place as our authentic hog roast dining experience is as at there as it gets when it comes to wedding dining. Spectacle, novelty, quality, class – this is what you get with the authentic roast!
The wedded couple opted for our formal wedding menu which includes both a 3-course menu and a pre-dining reception with drinks and canapés provided by the Hog Roast Strathaven service team. Guests are welcome into the reception with a drink and our service team then cycle the room with various light bites – pan seared filled of beef, gourmet sausages, mini quiches, salmon, duck – before being welcomed into the grand dining hall.
Our chef team were already ready and set to go with our long-roasted hog and beef roasts, getting them nice and carved up while guests took to their seats and were served their starter of Roast Breast of Gressingham Duck or Heritage Tomato and Beetroot Carpaccio. Our roasts were served buffet style for the main, carved and served by our chefs along with their classic accompaniments of Homemade Sage & Onion Stuffing, Apple Sauce and our famous Crispy Crackling for the pork roast, and Yorkshire Puddings and a rich Red Wine Gravy for the beef roast. For the vegetarians there was BBQ jackfruit instead of the roasts and all guests could help themselves to lavish helpings of roast new potatoes or buttered potatoes, along with our homemade Gourmet Coleslaw, a fresh Caesar Salad, and Heritage Tomato and Buffalo Mozzarella salad.
Dessert was Cheesecake or Tarte au Citron along with the 5-tiered wedding cake sliced up by our team for any who still had the room after such a magnificent feast!
