Hog Roast Largs’s latest clients made full use of the Gourmet Delivery Service that the team has. Clients and parents Amber and Patrick hired the team to create a delicious buffet and then deliver it to their home for the post christening celebration.
Clients Amber and Patrick worked closely with the Hog Roast Largs team to come up with a buffet that met their needs and their budget for the day. As part of the catering package paid for by the clients, the Hog Roast Largs team not only created the dishes and delivered them to the client’s home, but they also provided disposable crockery and cutlery for the guests to use.
The guest list for the event hold steady at 8 people, none of whom were vegetarian or vegan, which made the whole dish selection choice much simpler for the clients. Then it was up to Catering Manager John to create the tasty treats and turn a plan into reality.
Chef John started work on the buffet several hours before the 4pm delivery time. This allowed him plenty of time to prepare the food and cook it to perfection before packing it into large transport trays (that keep the food nice and hot!) and delivering it to Clients Amber and Patrick.
The buffet was focused mostly around the meat aspect of the buffet, for which the clients had selected Thai chicken kebabs and meaty marinated spare ribs. Alongside this tasty, aromatic dish there was also platters of Crispy Thai salad, Waldorf salad and fresh crunchy coleslaw. Finishing off the celebratory buffet there was warm new potatoes in herb butter and a large basket of soft bread rolls for everyone to tuck into.
Once the buffet dishes were ready and the delivery time approached Chef John made his final checks on the food, it was all neatly packed in the transport trays and ready to be taken to the clients home and served immediately.
When the food arrived clients Amber and Patrick were delighted! The buffet was as filling and warming as they had hoped. They declared the buffet a ‘job well done’, they and their guests had a great time celebrating their daughter Aria’s christening.
