But aside from delivering a feast that you won’t soon forget, Hog Roast Dolphinton is determined to provide our clients with a smooth, no-nonsense service that removes any unnecessary stress from the task of organising an event. So, for Sara, who had been ready to throw in the towel after spending several weeks trying (and failing) to find the perfect catering service to handle her baby’s Christening, we were the answer to her prayers.
After stumbling upon our website by pure chance, Sara knew right away that the Hog Roast Dolphinton team was who she needed in her corner for the special day. However, with so much to plan and prepare ahead of the event, and so little time to organise everything, the remaining time had to be used wisely. Fortunately, our team are more than capable of working under pressure, so this was no problem at all for them.
For the food, Sara explained that she needed a menu that would not only appeal to carnivores but also those following a vegan lifestyle. Luckily for her, inclusivity is our speciality, and before long, the client was excitedly choosing dishes to create an entirely bespoke feast. Her choices resulted in a main course which offered guests the option of either Cajun spiced whole roast chickens, creole pulled quarter of spiced lamb, fall off the bone Louisiana sticky pork ribs, BBQ pulled jackfruit or grilled veggie skewers. Mouth-watering sides of loaded fries, mixed salads, crunchy coleslaw and warm new potatoes were also included to spice up the feast.
The Christening took place last Thursday, and Sara couldn’t have been more pleased with the service Hog Roast Dolphinton provided. In fact, she’s already got us booked to take care of her husband’s birthday in a few months time!
