When you’re dreaming of featuring a sumptuous traditional hog roast for your next party or event, you can’t beat Hog Roast Maidens, as we’re the number one choice both locally and further afield. Regardless of the type of special occasion that you need catering, we will do you proud by using the freshest, highest quality ingredients to make you a hog roast centrepiece to die for, whether you want us to make piles of pigs in buns from the meat and crackling, or a plated meal to serve alongside seasonal vegetables, potatoes and homemade onion gravy. Either way, your hog roast will, of course, include our homemade apple sauce and sage and onion stuffing, which our repeat customers adore.
Nevertheless, Hog Roast Maidens has always understood the need for alternative and additional options, whether that’s in terms of different meat served, like a spit roast or a barbecue, or extra dishes to be provided, like canapés, starters, sides or desserts, or with food that is suitable for special diets. We have something for everyone, as we want all of your guests to be able to enjoy our food, so take a look at our wide array of options and you can create the menu of your dreams – whether that’s just with a simple, tasty main or the whole hog (so to speak!)
You may in fact prefer one of our special menus to be served fresh on the day, like our Loaded Fries, which are smothered with your choice of meat and slaw and plenty of melting cheese, or our Southern Slow Roast, which gives you three marinated meats and four sides, as well as a veggie option if needed.
Sometimes, however, one of our Hog Roast Maidens hog roasts made into our famed pigs in buns is exactly what’s needed, and that’s just what we made for one of our customers on Sunday, for a private party at home with family and friends. After the hog sizzled away for more than five hours in the back garden, our dedicated chef carved off the meat and crackling and filled fresh wraps and bread rolls with both, topped with our apple sauce and stuffing and then handed over to be devoured – and that they were.
