Snow is falling, and hog roasts are calling this holiday season. So, why not kickstart your celebrations early this year by giving our Hog Roast Newarthill team a call to arrange an unforgettable treat for all of your favourite people? You’d better be quick, though, as our diary is almost full up!
As popular as our delicious menus are in the summer months when everyone is focused on hosting as many garden parties as the weather will permit, nothing quite compares to the sensation of biting into a steaming hot hog roast roll at this side of the year. When the frost is nipping at your fingers and toes, and you’re all bundled up in your warmest clothes, our soul-satisfying recipes will provide a sense of comfort and warmth that your guests will be sure to appreciate – especially if you’re just as committed to hosting your events outdoors as you were back in July!
Last weekend, Hog Roast Newarthill’s catering crew was able to help Matt with his outdoor event, which took place at the client’s private residence nearby. The party was in aid of Matt’s brother, John, returning home to Scotland just in time for Christmas after spending the last five years living abroad and, as you can probably imagine, the whole family was ecstatic to welcome him back.
Matt went to great lengths to mark his brother’s return and had even hired garden igloo pods to protect his 40 guests from the elements. Hog Roast Newarthill had been asked to serve our Full Festive Menu, complete with a full hog roast, homemade cauliflower cheese, a sensational medley of seasonal vegetables, roasted potatoes, juicy pigs in blankets and gravy; followed by traditional mince pies with warm brandy cream for dessert and a glass of fresh mulled wine.
The feast our catering crew presented did the trick of keeping everyone toasty and warm, and it was irresistibly tasty, to boot! The guests savoured every mouthful, and after clearing their plates (twice!), Hog Roast Newarthill parcelled up the leftovers for Matt, tidied away the mess and left the guests to enjoy the rest of their evening.
