Hog Roast Glenluce’s latest Clients were laid back couple Helena and Jake. They were glad to leave a lot of the work for their wedding day to the team, they were relieved that the catering package they paid for meant that they wouldn’t have to worry about tidying up after the buffet or indeed, worry about providing the buffet.
The Hog Roast Glenluce team had a whole host of choice for the Clients to pick from for their wedding buffet. As the buffet was being served at 7pm, Clients Helena and Jake wanted a hearty meal for them and their 30 guests to enjoy, one that would give them plenty of energy to keep dancing the night away. So that is what Chef John was tasked with creating.
Kind and hardworking Chef John arrived at the big, private Hall venue several hours before the 7pm serving time. He was given a generous space in which to set up the cooking equipment and serving table, before getting on with creating the whole buffet from scratch.
The buffet included lots of hearty dishes for the lucky 28 guests and Clients Helena be Jake to tuck into on their special day. The main attraction at the buffet table however was the 3 meats, all of which were taken from the Southern Slow Roast menu and were packed full of flavour. There was BBQ Pork Butt, Cajun spiced whole roast chicken and Creole Pulled Quarter of Spiced Lamb. Alongside these tasty treats there was platters of Mac and Cheese, Memphis Style crunchy coleslaw, corn cobettes and Cajun spiced sweet potato wedges. Finishing off the buffet was grilled vegetable wraps that were served with an optional Tzatziki sauce, and a basket of assorted soft wraps and rolls.
The buffet was a veritable feast, full of tasty dishes that everyone could enjoy. Once they had done so, Chef John discreetly tidied away the equipment and gathered up the used crockery and cutlery that the Hog Roast Glenluce team had provided. All the rubbish was disposed of sensibly by the team, leaving Helena and Jake able to enjoy their special day.
The wedding buffet gave the guests plenty of energy to keep enjoying the party. It was a job well done.
