At this festive time of year, it is always a great opportunity to get together with friends and family and celebrate together. This bonfire night Hog Roast West Kilbride had been contacted by our client Harvey who was hosting a family party to celebrate. When booking Harvey told us that he would be needing food for approximately twenty guests, all family members, and that as everyone has different tastes and favourites it would be best if we could provide a varied menu. This was no problem and our Hog Roast West Kilbride team got to work planning a menu straight away.
After consulting further with Harvey, we decided it would be best to serve up our southern slow-roast menu. For those who may not know, this menu encompasses your choice of three different portions of meat all roasted low and slow in their own secret recipe rubs. Our Hog Roast West Kilbride chefs have taken inspiration from the American deep south for this menu and have taken classic southern flavours and given them our own Hog Roast West Kilbride twist. For this event Harvey had chosen to go for our Cajun spiced chickens that we roast whole, BBQ Pork Butt and Texan 24 Hour Beef Brisket. Along with these delectable meats we prepared some classic accompaniments of Mac n Cheese, corn cobettes smothered in butter and some jacket potato wedges.
We arrived at the family home just as the sun was beginning to set and got our Hog Roast West Kilbride catering station set up. As the guests arrived, they were welcomed by the delicious aromas of our food slowly roasting away. As the children took up the opportunity to enjoy some sparklers, we began to carve the meats and serve up our southern slow roast feast. Our food always goes down a treat and within no time everyone had been served. Then it was time for the fireworks to begin…
