Hog Roast Airdrie were thrilled to be hired by client Val for their latest event. Val booked the catering team to create a feast for her husband’s 60th birthday party that was taking place in their back garden.
There was a guest list of 30 people attending the party, and the buffet would be served in the afternoon. This gave Catering Manager John from Hog Roast Airdrie plenty of time to set up the catering gazebo and equipment, including the Hog Master machine that would be creating the Classic Hog Roast.
As part of the catering package that Val had selected and paid for the Hog Roast Airdrie catering team would not only be creating the buffet from scratch on the day of the party, but would also be providing high quality disposable crockery and cutlery for the guests to use. Furthermore, as is usual with all Hog Roast catering packages, at the end of the event all the rubbish generated from the catering aspect of the event was taken off site and disposed of responsibly by the Hog Roast Airdrie team.
The guests tucked straight into the buffet when it was ready to be served. There was a delicious Classic Hog Roast (which is always the number 1 choice for buffets!), this tasty dish comprises of a succulent, sizzled slow roasted pig, crispy crackling, homemade stuffing and an optional tangy apple sauce. There was also perfectly grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers and plain grilled vegetable skewers for everyone to enjoy. Finally, rounding off the magnificent buffet for the 30party goers, was a large assortment of soft, gluten free rolls.
Luckily the weather held fair and the outdoor garden venue was perfect. The guests could enjoy each other’s company and the good food in gloriously sunny conditions.
Catering Manager John put together an incredible buffet that the guests jumped straight into. Val and her birthday boy husband were absolutely delighted by the spread, and their guests loved it too. It was a brilliant birthday celebration.
