At the beginning of September we were booked in to cater for Laraine at her home in East Calder, not too far for Spitting Pig Lanarkshire. Laraine had chosen our menu 5 for 60 people. To start, a selection of canapes to greet her guests as they arrived. We had a Smoked Salmon with cracked black pepper and lemon, an Indian Selection, Mini Quiche and Fillet of Beef in Mini Yorkshire Puddings. These went down a treat! For the main course, Laraine had chosen our traditional hog roast for her event in East Calder. Alongside the hog, we served our sumptuous Spring Lamb, and 2 whole roasted Scottish Salmon. To accompany the mains, we had made our fresh homemade salads, a vegetarian option for the non meat eaters and then a selection of 2 desserts to finish. Pig isn’t all we do!
Once the food had been eaten we cleared everything away and put any left over food to one side for Laraine and her guests to enjoy the next day.
We had a fabulous time catering the hog roast in East Calder, everyone had many compliments regarding the food as well as the staff. With so many compliments we’d like to think we have some potential future customers on the cards from this event!
