A global poll recently revealed that pasta seems to be the world’s favourite food, however here in Gordon we know for a fact that everyone’s favourite food here is by far a meal provided by Hog Roast Gordon. We are always in high demand for all kinds of parties and reasons to celebrate with the locals, we are just a phone call away from booking your local favourite meal.
Rose has been a loyal customer of Hog Roast Gordon for many years now and for all her celebrations it’s our team that are always there to help but on a fabulous feast for her and her guests. Most recently we joined Rose in celebrating her silver wedding anniversary, 25 years happily married, a goal that most couples aim to achieve. For Rose and George’s 25th anniversary they were joined by 25 close friends and 3 generations of family. (25 seemed to be the number for the day, I wish we could also say we were catering on the 25th day of the month too but it wasn’t) Rose must have tried every single one of our dishes by now, but for today’s choice it was to be our famous pig in buns alongside herb dressed new potatoes and mac and cheese. A menu that Rose picked herself, she wanted a choice of lovely warm food while also keeping the vegetarians happy with our halloumi and mixed vegetable skewers that they could pair with new potatoes and mac and cheese.
It was certain that everyone had a fantastic choice for their lunch. Our Hog Roast Gordon team have catered for Rose many a time so our arrival and set up was super easy, the team knew exactly where to head too in the garden and before we knew it everything was unloaded and prep had begun. The guests soon began arriving and our spread of food was soon due to be ready for all to indulge on. Rose and George of course were first to head over and encourage the guests to grab a plate also. The feedback from everyone was fantastic and most importantly from Rose and George, both over the moon again to have us back catering for them. No doubt we will be back again soon too.
